Blooming lovely - Spring Injection
What makes you happy? Sunshine on my skin and flowers blooming in my garden have given me a new vitality today.
I’m not going to talk about the last 12 months as they have been hard, hard, hard. However, I think there are lots of positives to take from the learnings over the last year.
We haven’t all had to rush around travelling to London for a 2 hour meeting. We haven’t all had to be face to face in the way that we all thought that we would (although a little bit more face to face would be nice).
We have found a new love for smart tops with lounge wear bottoms and slippers!
But, we have got the job done, and with fewer outside distractions (i.e. a social life) we have been more thorough and worked even harder.
I’m no scientist but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m hoping for a nice spring/summer where I can see all my favourite people again. That sense of some kind of normal feels so good.
Then today, magically overnight, after weeks of rain and frost I looked out into my garden and saw these flowers blooming and it really injected me with some great positivity. If these blooms can fight through the cold and the snow, we can fight through this pandemic.
I’ve taken the time to not only service my clients well, but to be flexible to their needs caused by their uncertainty in the pandemic. I’ve taken on new clients and I’ve been training. I am coming out of this vaccinated, smarter, stronger (although with a few more wrinkles).
